Dr. Philip J Owsley O.D.

Dr. Owsley was born in Montpelier, ID; the son of an optometrist.  He obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Idaho in political science.  After a bit of soul searching, he then decided to follow his father's footsteps and become an optometrist himself; receiving his Doctorate in Optometry from Pacific University  in 1990.

Before moving to Bozeman,  Dr Owsley owned a private practice in the area of Portland, Oregon, but he longed to return to the Rocky Mountain area.  Since moving to Bozeman, Dr. Owsley has developed a loyal and strong following due to his selfless and caring nature.

He is an avid fan of the local high school and college sports teams.  He also enjoys spending time with his family and getting outside be it skiing or hiking.
